What is Paideia?

Paideia is an educational blockchain, which provides free education, by using the Alpha and Omega DAOs as the treasury reserve model for bonding, staking and rewards of the Paideia stable coin called Pai. Originally envisioned for MOOCs, our platform has evolved to become the leading learning solutions for not only MOOCs, but self learners, YouTubers, Higher Ed, Enterprise, and Government Organizations alike.

With Paideia all educators, students and employers will have the ability to own, securely store, manage and share their knowledge world wide. All of us will now have the ability to learn from anyone, anywhere across the globe in a setting which rewards everyone involved.

The Paideia business model is the latest development in the education industry. It uses a core blockchain called the EDUCore with three sidechains, one for each interacting party below:

• Employer Blockchain - ergon

Pairing the Blockchain with Alpha & Omega DAOs, we can achieve Learn-to-Earn(L2E) and Earn-to-Learn(E2L) in conjunction with the Open edX protocol, we can connect to all online learning platforms as a conduit and as well as many other MOOCs and social channels. Our protocol will provide a learner-centric, massively scalable, secure and FREE Educational System.

Learn-to-Earn(L2E) AND Earn-to-Learn(E2L)

L2E rewards students in Pai, our educational native token, for completing an educational course, helping educators with course development and employers with verifications on the Paideia platform. E2L is the use of Liquidity pairs (LPs) on many of the DEXs out there, students can pair their excess PAI with another token and receive LP rewards to get more PAI which can be used to purchase courses on the Paideia platform.

Paideia’s business model embraces the concept of an open educational economy and provides financial benefits to all students, educators and mentors who add value by completing courses, teaching courses and many other educational tasks, like interview preparation or verification of course material, the list is endless. Paideia will continue to introduce new educational concepts and retention models not yet seen in the modern educational system.
